It is still better then any of these HD editions bs that takes an old game, basicly just polishesh graphics (which is not case of isaac, the graphics are redone, not polished) and basicly sells it for a full price eg. I would say that the price tag of 10 dollars justifies 1-2 years of their hard work for what is practicly a new game. The game has recieved graphical overhaul, has almost double the content, better item synergy, possibility to save, new challanges, controller support, local co-op with online co-op possibility, new progression system, new music, and the possibility for new content since they cant add anything more in the flash version due to the limitation of flash (and i can bet that i didnt include some more stuff) ![]() Rebirth is fixing these problems by being done in a proper engine. The reason for this was, that the creator didn't even intend for this to be a game and thought of it as a just fun project for himself. Well original + dlc does have a lot of issues that will be never fixed (like lags, non working combinations, engine flaws and many others) since the game was made in flash. If you have never bought isacc then its a good deal but this is not one ill be paying for. Originally posted by MagicMert:For me, No I already bought the game and the DLC at full price (£6) so paying £7-£10 for a graphical update + another DLC pack feels like just throwing money into a fire as I already own 2/3 of the game. If this game was brand new and im talking NONE of the old issac characters but all brand new ones NONE of the old items all brand new ones new bosses that are not just recolours of the old ones but with 2 more eyes etc etc id pay £7-£10 but as it currently is all I see is graphical "Update" (I preferd the old flash style personaly) and a DLC pack. The only thing this brings to the table im excited about is native controler support. ![]() I don't see it being more than a DLC honestly. So yeah, since the game is more than doubling in content when you count everything, it is a worthwhile buy even if you see it as just a "standalone DLC"(which, for the 9000th time, it isn't, it is way more than a DLC would be). The original game had 156 items, WotL added another 67 items, plus 31 Trinkets if you count them as items, total for 254 items, Rebith is confirmed on over 450 items alone, that's not counting all sorts of general upgrades, like controller support, the mentioned graphical update, and everything present in the store page that I don't feel like typing down. ![]() If you consider that BoI is the kind of game that is built on the items that exist, you don't.
